The proposition

A method connecting system actions, evidence, ownership and institutional claims.

The question is not whether technology should become more capable. It is how people and institutions retain the evidence, authority and practical means to shape what those capabilities do.

Why it matters

General Interfaces approaches this question through two connected lenses: Personal Digital Sovereignty and Intelligent Systems Governance. The first asks what should remain under individual control. The second asks how we govern systems that affect us but are not fully under our control.

Questions for development

  • What forms of agency are at stake?
  • Which assumptions or values remain hidden?
  • What evidence would make the claim contestable?
  • Who owns the outcome when the system acts?
